How to Care for Your Corset

After removing your corset, let it “breathe.” The best way to do this is to hang it briefly on a hanger or over the back of a chair. This helps maintain freshness and prevents deformation.
If the corset becomes soiled, professional dry cleaning is the safest option to ensure proper care.

Never put your corset in a washing machine.
If you choose to clean it yourself, hand washing only is allowed.

How to Clean a Corset

  1. Soak the corset in warm (not hot!) water with a detergent for delicate fabrics. Leave it for 20–30 minutes.

  2. Gently rinse the corset in water. If there are noticeable stains, you may carefully clean them using mild soap or detergent and a soft-bristle brush.

  3. If necessary, repeat the rinsing process several times.

  4. Do not wring or twist the corset.

  5. After washing, hang it for a few minutes to allow excess water to drip off.

  6. Lay the corset flat on a clean terry towel, which will absorb remaining moisture.

  7. Once slightly dry, hang the corset to finish drying, making sure no marks from clips or ropes remain.

  8. Important: Do not expose the corset to direct sunlight.
